KAOS agent working with the "cowboy" as part of a plot to put Maxwell Smart's sanity in question at an upcoming court hearing where Max is due to testify against KAOS.

Bruno taps into Max's telephone line intercepting a call to the Morovian embassy and falsely tells him that there is a costume party in progress there - after KAOS arranges that the only costume available will be a chicken outfit.

Note that although the name Bruno appears in the credits, it is not used in the episode itself.
