Obviously he is no mere thug, as he is first seen in Danker's hideout/workshop working on something with a blowtorch (which Danker eventually tries to attack Max with). This seems to imply that he is responsible for many of Danker's weapons (ie, the briefcase with a hidden shooter). In the battle with Max, he shows he is also good at hand to hand combat, and capable of wielding a gun as well. He is accidentally killed by Danker when his boss tosses a knife at Max and gets him in the back instead, causing Max to comment, "Well, fella, this just hasn't been your day...".
