Ignacio Valdez

Chief of Police of Mira Loma, Mexico, who is paid off by KAOS agent Dietrick to turn over the priceless Tequila Mockingbird which is hidden somewhere in the town.

As well as being Chief of Police, Valdez is the mayor, city clerk, superintendent of schools, coroner, justice of the peace, dog catcher, tax collector, head of the tourist bureau, owner of the local cantina, golf pro and librarian. He explains that this is not as time-consuming as it seems since Mira Loma has no library.
