Supposedly a retired CONTROL agent living at Spy City retirement home, it turns out that Newfield is actually a double agent working for KAOS.
He and handyman Mace kidnap Spy City resident Herb Gaffer and torture him for the location of his hidden diary in which he has recorded all of CONTROL's codes and procedures.
