When Mondebello orders Vogel to kill secretary Ann Ferris, with whom Vogel is secretly in love, Vogel instead conspires with Ann to sell the information she has on Mondebello to CONTROL. They plan to use the money to run away together, making Vogel the first man to defect from KAOS and live.
Sadly, Mondebello learns of the plan and kills Vogel for his betrayal.
